What is Insurance?

Insurance is the obligation of one party (the Insurer) to honor a written agreement (the Policy) of the second party (the Insured) in return for a financial obligation (the Premium).

Who are the different Entities?

• Insured- You, the premium payer and policy holder.
• Broker- DISNE who is the intermediary between you and the insurer.  We represent you the insured.
• Insurer- The company who writes and honors the policy
• Underwriter- An employee of the Insurer.  DISNE communicates with the underwriter to design a policy to meet your needs.
